Automation

The work that should not need a person.

Python and Google Apps Script that does the repetitive part: the report rebuilt every Monday, the data copied between two systems that will never talk to each other, the spreadsheet that three people maintain by hand.

from $300

This is the older half

The websites are the newer service. Automation is what has actually been selling for 9+ years — a productised apps script service that sold 10 times, all positive, and repeat buyers on every platform it was sold through. If you only read one thing about me, read the reviews on that work.

What that has looked like

  • A report that rebuilds itself

Google Sheets, Drive and Gmail automation — the periodic report, the invoice that files itself, the sheet three people were maintaining by hand. The single most-sold and most-reviewed thing on the whole record.

  • A price-comparison platform, and the engine under it

Built from scratch, including its own web-scraping engine — the part that has to keep working when the sites it reads quietly change shape.

  • Two systems that were never meant to talk

A CRM report pushed onto Google Maps with radius search; an API wired into a live Chart.js dashboard; leads pulled from LinkedIn into Sheets and pushed to Telegram.

  • Browser extensions

Chrome extensions on Manifest V3, published and maintained — for the jobs that only make sense inside the page the work already happens on.

Where it is worth doing

  • Google Sheets, Drive and Gmail automation — the most-sold work on the record
  • Web scraping and data extraction, and the pipelines that keep it clean
  • API and webhook integrations between tools that ship no connector
  • Chrome extensions and internal dashboards over the data once it moves

The test is simple: if a person does it more than once a week, and does it the same way every time, it is worth a quote. If it needs judgement every time, it usually is not — and I will say so.

Built with

  • Python
  • Google Apps Script
  • Web scraping
  • Selenium
  • Beautiful Soup
  • REST APIs & webhooks
  • ETL pipelines
  • Chrome extensions
  • Google Cloud
  • Django / Flask

What it costs

A Google Workspace or Apps Script automation starts at $300; a custom Chrome extension at $600. Anything larger is quoted as a fixed scope once I understand what the manual version currently costs you — which is usually the number that decides whether it is worth building at all.
